THE RUDOLF NUREYEV
PHOTOGRAPHIC ART GALLERY

1365 Westwood BoulevardWest Los Angeles, CA. 90024
(310) 477-6414

The Rudolf Nureyev Photographic Art Gallery wasoriginally founded on March 17th 1993 (the date of the Rudolf"Nureyev Celebration") at the former dance studios of Ballet Ecarte, CulverCity, California.  The idea for the gallery was an inspiration on the part ofNadezhda Koscuik, long time friend of the former dancer and Artistic Director of the Vaganova Ballet Academy, Los Angeles; Golden Koscuik, Associate Artistic Director, and Dwight L. Grell.

The gallery, which is currently under renovation, features over a hundred black and white and color photographs, most of which are reproductions, of the great dancer.  The gallery will have an official re-opening in early 2005.

Although the collection of Nureyev photographs are a part of a permanent collection, the gallery supports the efforts of professional painters, photographers, and other artists, by way of displays, exhibitions and making the studio available for short-term rentals.
